IRON LEGS Shuttle Day- June 23
We are bringing it back, 4 years later!
Service Description
We managed to ride all the MMBTS DH trails in one day in 2020. We had injuries, equipment failures, and we almost ran out of light. This time we know what to expect and can warn people appropriately, we will be doing it close to the longest day of the year so light will be a little less of an issue. Unfortunately/fortunately there are also more official MMBTS trails than there were 4 years ago! The Day will begin earlier than usual and end later, but if we keep rolling we will make it! An average 7hr shuttle day gets 8 laps, so to do the 15 official trails (at time of writing) we will need about 13 hours. So if we start at 8AM we should have ample daylight. Can't say that this will be for everyone, it is going to be a tough day on bodies and equipment. Recommended minimum Skill level of 5, Fitness level of 4. Our Skill and Fitness ratings can be found on the web-page menu under "ABOUT" Youth age 13 and up may attend as long as they Meet the Skill and Fitness requirements and have access to transportation, we don't want to leave a kid waiting in a parking lot by themselves if they are too tired to continue riding. There will be a guide with you all day as per our standard Shuttle Day. The guide will dictate what trail will be ridden and follow at the back of the group.
